Exploring Process

Our Approach

Not all organizing systems work for all people. It just needs to make sense for you, your family, and your home. We specialize in helping you find what works so you can make a lifelong organizing shift.

Step One

Discuss

Whether we are working to downsize to cut down on decision fatigue, making a system for someone who is highly visual (if it’s out of site its out of mind, items in drawers are often forgotten about), creating a system to mitigate the effects of ADHD or other executive functioning challenges, we discuss and problem solve for your specific needs.

Step Two

Declutter

There is no shame in this organizing game. Holding space, bringing gentleness and forgiveness, finding what rings true and joyful for you—that’s how we declutter. I bring all my expertise and practical experience, pose questions to consider and introduce new ideas, but you are ultimately the one that decides what stays and what goes.

Step Three

Organize

After the main event of decluttering, all items will be categorized, contained, and put in their new homes, leaving you with a practical system that you can continue to implement. I always take into consideration the way your brain works and what makes sense to you.

The Benefits of Organizing

⁕ Eliminate Decision Fatigue

Do you have too much stuff but still have nothing to wear? Packed cabinets but can’t find the right item? Having to sift through tons of things everyday to make basic life decisions zaps our mental energy and robs us of our time. Surrounding yourself with only your favorite items makes doing daily tasks a breeze and frees up your creativity.

⁕ Empower your Purchase

Decluttering and organizing is a skill like anything else. Through our decluttering sessions, you’ll build your muscle of discernment and a connection to what you really love and need. Post-decluttering, clients have improved purchasing skills and a system in place to donate things that no longer serve them. In this way, the decluttering process makes a life-long change.

⁕ Work from the Outside In

Facing the items in your home is a fascinating lesson in what has been running your subconscious. Seeing everything laid out shows you your habits and what you find important. Once you see it, you can change it.

Now that you know us, let’s talk about services.

Taking a closer look at what we choose to surround ourselves with can teach us about our belief systems, values, and illuminate what we attract. This emotional labor is a big reason why people so often put it off or decide they are no good at it. We’d like to change that for you.
